Okay so I know some other members here also study music, in some sort of way. But the only problem I ever get when reading sheet music is notes that appear in brackets - or sharp, flat or natural signs appearing in brackets before a note. Now I have no idea what this means, at first I thought it means when you come back repeating the verse again you play the bracket note, but the Harry Potter theme doesn't repeat any bits. Then I thought it means that note is optional, but I don't know. Help Please
I'll be such a fool if it turns out to be something simple that's probably in my music notes. But I'll still ask for help either way and so this section has a post. |

My mom's a music guru, I asked her ^^
Those bits are just reminders - and you don't normally see them - see how there's the flat and whatever bits at the beginning of the line? The note before those ones are naturals, so the brackets are just a reminder to go back to the set flat
Hope that helps! |
