Showing forum content on main site

Yeah, hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction. I think it would be database related but still.

Well you know how some sites have on their main site a little section and it's titled "recent forum posts" or something - and it lists the recent topics posted and by who, on their main site and not on the forum - so some how they have like a recent update thing, but with the forum.

Anyone know how or can point me the the right direction into doing something like that. I was hoping I could have something like that on my main site (www.ichabod1799.net) And would it also be possible to have my affiliates/co-owners be able to do that too? Direct link database info?

but I will post it here anyway so other people can use it. Originally this was written for phpbb but I think it can be configured, and you can configure the style of it too if you don't want it to scroll (I did, it's really easy to change it around to suit you - I know because I did it, usually I get others to configure my php scripts Razz
